How a turn works: green is a win, amber is near (within 25%), and red is far. Arrows show whether your guess was low or high.

## What Is Costcodle?
Costcodle is an independent daily price challenge built around product and package details. The target is a game value for the challenge, so it is not a live store quote or an official Costco service.

## How to Play

### Core Rules
Enter a positive decimal with up to two digits after the decimal point, such as 12.99. Do not add a dollar sign or commas. Each challenge allows six guesses, and a guess within 5% wins.

## Hints & Strategy
Use a rounded first estimate to learn direction. Far feedback calls for a larger adjustment; near feedback calls for a smaller move. Keep a rough lower and upper bound as you work. The [strategy guide](/strategy/) shows a full example.
